Keeping Children Safe in Education

 

Required for October 2018 (or earlier)

Salary: £17,007 per annum – G3.6
37 hours per week – Monday to Sunday, 52 weeks per year, including 23 days holiday

 

We are looking to appoint an Assistant Caretaker to join our team of premises staff at De Aston School. The school enjoys an outstanding reputation based on academic success and leadership along with a friendly yet positive atmosphere and is a genuinely comprehensive school with an integral and vibrant boarding element.

Ideally you will have current experience in working within a similar role in an educational environment and be able to work either as part of a team, or independently, depending on the nature of the tasks.
The post involves general caretaking duties as detailed in the job description.
The successful candidate will need to be available for emergency call outs and some late working, by arrangement, will also be required.

De Aston is part of the Lincoln Teaching Schools Alliance and we have a strong belief in supporting and nurturing all our staff into being successful in their chosen career and as such will provide all relevant CPD required for the role.
