Senior Teaching Assistant with Management Responsibilities

Temporary Additional Needs and Cover Supervisor

Grade 4 - 32.5 hours per week - 39 weeks per year - Salary: £13,023 per anum (£9.05 per hour FTE: £17,419)

Required for 3rd January 2018 FIXED TERM until 20th July 20th 2018

We are looking to appoint a Temporary Additional Needs and Cover Supervisor to work predominantly within the Learning Support Department. The role will primarily involve being part of a team that supports Additional Needs within the classroom as well as providing cover supervision for absent members of the teaching staff when required. You will be educated at least to A level standard and have High GCSE grades in English and Maths.

You will have good organisational and interpersonal skills and will have the personal characteristics required to supervise and support students and work with both the teaching and non-teaching staff.

This post would suit a Graduate who is looking at starting a Teaching Qualification in September 2018 and we would provide CPD and support to ensure a successful start to an ITT programme.
